The Challenge
There is a severe lack of capacity in the marketplace to deliver green buildings. Critical stakeholders have varying degrees of sophistication and knowledge about green building and LEED. Uneven capacity impedes the expansion of green building. Even when understanding is high, communication channels are often weak or broken. These circumstances are among the key bottlenecks obstructing the deepening and expansion of green building practices. — USGBC Strategic Plan 2009-2013
We need to deliver a lot more green buildings in the next 5 years than we can deliver today. We need to adapt quickly.
